Caylan Hays serves as the External Relations Associate at ThinkTennessee. In her role, she provides communications, event, and fundraising support, expanding the capacity of ThinkTennessee to further reach and engage with its stakeholders.

Caylan has spent her career in communications and public relations, primarily in the nonprofit and higher education sectors. Previously, Caylan worked as a Communications Specialist at Vanderbilt University, where she supported the communications and outreach efforts of The Vanderbilt Project on Unity and American Democracy, which focuses on facilitating civil discourse across the aisle. 

Caylan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Songwriting from Belmont University. In her free time, Caylan can be found gardening, writing and performing songs, and exploring the great state of Tennessee.
